News, because I told so.

Meh. 2 days late writing this meh. It’s 3 am. Meh. I hate Uni. Meh.

So first of all:

I reached 1 million views. YAY! Actually 1.1 millions, but who cares. I completly forgot about this. You can see the counter on the sidebar now.

Now my next point:

People never change. I tell them to not ask the whole time & to stop asking when a new chapter comes out and they still do. Spoilers in the comments are even worse. I don’t check everything, so please. Just stop. It’s useless. It does not make me work harder. It just pisses me off a bit, reading the same stuff over and over and over. The best thing was when somebody was asking about a chapter I already realesed. Ok. Nothing more to add here.

Now the next point on the list:

People asked me IF they may translate. I checked their english skills. Some of them were bad. Really bad. I won’t call out names, because that would be bad. And some decided to join other people or stuff like that, frankly said, because a Arifureta Chapter is LONG. The shortest chapters are at least 15 pages and on average it’s 20 pages. Other novels have like 4-5 Pages of Moonrunes. We have 3-5 times as much. Translating a chapter takes a while. Also editing. I don’t know HOW many times I’ve said this. And NO. I won’t start reqruiting people who can only barely translate with a MTL. That would probably ruin the novel and my mood. TL-checking and Editing takes more time than translating as you may sometimes go brainafk while translating. I really don’t want sentences which sound worse than broken english.

Most important thing:

-Why u no chapter during the Winterbreak, but somebody else?

Well. To be honest. My powersource stopped working so my PC was dead. Amazone took too long to deliver a new one. So I wasn’t able to work on a chapter. Doing it on a phone is impossible to me. I tried. One sentence and it was over. I hate to type on the phone. Worst thing ever. I miss the old Nokia times. You COULD kill a person with the phone while typing a message with one hand. And btw. He just started it on his own and sent me the chapters. After I could use my PC and mailed with him. He will help me out with the chapters for a while.

So what’s next? Ah right. Doing some adming stuff on the page which I will not be able to do till Saturday. Need to do some minor changes to the chapters. Btw. Want some recommendations for novels or stuff like that from me? If so I may add a Page for that stuff. I have quite a lot of novels I think they are good.

I was fucking overworking myself the last 2 weeks and this week does not seem any better. I want to chill out a little too as any human being. But well. To make it up for now, I will shedule the next chapter to be released on my birthday 02.12.2015 10:00 UTC+1. That would be like 18:00 in Japan. I will try to fix it up, but I won’t promise anything perfect. I am just too stressed out to deal with stuff atm. At least I will release it. And no. This is not a promise. As long as wordpress does not fuck up or anything, then the chapter will be released on my birthday. That is my present to you guys who are NOT spamming my comments with “where is the chapter” or “FUCK YOU”.

Next chapter is done soon I guess?

Small update post for you guys.

I have completed the next chapter. Great right? No. You need to wait till the editor is done. It would have been done a little bit earlier if children weren’t coming over every 10 min asking for sweets. Halloween isn’t even that popular in Germany….. wtf. I will start doing the next chapter tomorrow already, hopefully finishing it at friday or saturday. Then giving it to my editor and waiting again. I have some exercises to do tomorrow so maybe 1 hours of translating only.

Btw. I do like translating, but working too long makes me angry. Now it’s 00:10 in Germany. (Even a bit later when the post is released) I could probably finish the chapter myself, but splitting it up makes more sense so that I can work on the next one earlier.

And btw². I had the chapter since 3 weeks or longer, but as it wasn’t tl’d by me I wanted to check it completely. I lost progress once as I was doing it at my aunt’s place and she somehow deleted it and I needed to start from scratch. So that is one of the reasons why it has come so late now. My motivation went down to the toilet that day and it took some time to recover. 😀

Now let me die in peace and in a piece.

Well…. There are some things I need to say.

Maybe first… I am sorry? Or not? I actually wanted to finish the next chapter before updating stuff, but that would butthurt…… I mean disappoint many people.

The last 3 weeks were a little hard or me due to exams and before that I was in vacation mode and has no real motivation to translate. Now some RL issues packed up and I need to deal with them. “RL issues, every TL says they have RL issues mimimi”, some people may cry out like small children. Well….. Here is the story:

The thing is, we have here a neighbour which is pretty much an asshole and We are probably going to court with him, so I needed to write (a lot) of stuff. Germans are really too nit-picky about such things. Filling out forms and writing your claims, reports and whatnot. And I do that practically myself. I’ve written like 20 pages full of words alone in the last 2 weeks. Also have reported his dog because he barks and attacks almost everyone here. That wouldn’t be too much of a time-waste if I wasn’t going to university right now. So I am half a day there and then deal with RL stuff. After that I am pretty much spent and don’t want to TL. Tomorrow a witness is coming over to me to testimony it to me and write a claim herself. I actually planned to finish the translation today or tomorrow, but it looks like I need to crush a bug… I mean deal with other stuff first.

I guess I can finish this weekend, but I can never be sure. Just to inform you guys/girls/furries/dragons/cat-girls/vampires/bloodsuckers/leeches. I wasn’t slacking off ALL the time. Just like 1/4th of the time. I am done with about 50% of the chapter. Again. I did mess up and delete it by mistake as I wasn’t using google docs like usual, but Word at that time because I wasn’t able to use my internet.

Well, at my place there are still 3 hours left of sunday, but I won’t approach the fat cat anymore. I managed to pet it, but it still wants to attack me. The cat will get taken back when I wake up, so it’s over.

Arifureta Chapter 128

There was a mistake with the chapter-numbers since Chapter 100. It’s actually chapter 99. View some of my old post for more information. This one is 128 and not 129.

This chapter was done by 3 translators. I tried to check the other two with this translation. That’s the main reason it took so long. I took some parts of each translation and put it together like some kind of joint work. Testing out people is important.
